Minister of Local Government Dr. Sami Hijjawi discussed with Adh Dhahiriyah Mayor Eng. Ali Abbas Al-Awaisah a number of issues concerning the provision of essential services in the city and its key development needs, particularly in the area of infrastructure development.

The meeting also addressed several financial and technical challenges facing the municipality and explored ways to strengthen its capacities to improve the quality of services provided to citizens.

The meeting, held at the Minister's office on Wednesday, was attended by Director General of Projects Eng. Moayad Shahadeh.
